Happy New Year’s Eve! In an effort to add some festiveness to these last hours of 2013, I decided to make some Pink Champagne Cupcakes to ring in the new year. Bubbly + Cupcakes- seriously, what could be better? To make the cupcakes, I used a standard box mix and replaced the water with some champagne. I then added some red food coloring to the mix to make them pink. Lastly, I topped them with my homemade champagne buttercream and pink sprinkles for a finishing touch. They definitely taste like champagne, but these wont have you feeling tipsy as the clock strikes midnight.
