Atlanta Eats: Noche

As a self-proclaimed Mexican food connoisseur, I’m always on the hunt for the best Mexican in town. After working at a Mexican restaurant for almost six years throughout high school and college, I’ve developed a love for the spicy cuisine. I pass Noche in Vinings almost every day, so I put it at the top of my “places to try” list. Noche is well known for its selection of Spanish tapas and margaritas, but they also serve a variety of Mexican favorites such as quesadillas, burritos , and of course, tacos. My boyfriend and I recently heard about their $2 dollar taco special on Mondays, so naturally we headed there immediately. It was even more of a surprise when we found out they have $5 sangria and margaritas every day!  The taco menu consists of the traditional options like chicken, pork and steak, but its the non-traditonal options (the “Trailer Park Taco”) that really catch your eye. Our tacos came out in minutes and they were delicious! Carefully hand-crafted, topped with authentic Mexican ingredients such as cotija cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, served in a warm flour tortilla, and with such a small price tag-I could have eaten 10 (Okay, probably not that many)! You get my point. We really loved the eclectic menu, high energy atmosphere and well-stocked bar (over 30 selections of tequila), we definitely want to come back with friends!
